Breaking my 1 goal deadlock in a futsal match is not the only excitement, but seeing Chelsea triumph over Manchester United adds even more joy to my “football weekend”. After scoring 4 goals and made 3 assists myself, i just got the feeling Chelsea will give MU the blues that night. And it came, through our hero, Michael Ballack; scoring a superb header and converting a controversial penalty.

Cheers to you Chelsea! Next up, the Champions’ League final!

Arsenal is out of the English Premier League title chase! Not even the “Hand of God” from Emmanuel Adebayor could save them from a self-inflicted defeat by Manchester United(MU). They’ve always been kicking their own balls; a William Gallas hand-ball in the penalty area and a Gilberto Silva’s foul on Patrice Evra that lead to Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty and Owen Hargreaves‘ spectacular free-kick respectively. Its frustrating to see how the Gunners always lost it when they have the lead. Same thing all over again after their slip up against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League last week.

I’ve been unofficially retired from Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs) for quite some time, ever since my serious addiction with Final Fantasy XI that lead me to the title of most hardcore players : NO LIFE. Since then, i’ve been in and out of so many MMOGs (yeah, including non-RPGs) till i’ve lost count. Never lasted too long in them, played and quited half way as almost every game is just a grind and mimic of every others. I also refused World of Warcraft, the supposedly no.1 played MMORPG in the world.. even after countless invitations from Tree, Moomookun, Moggs and Plaz, among others. I eventually stopped all MMOGs in 2007, after FBI seized the entire Lineage 2 Xtreme(private server – click to watch tribute video) operations.. and also because of personal reasons.

I guess its just me getting old and not very impressed with most games that are coming out now. Ever since my Ninja Gaiden Black review earlier in this blog, there wasn’t any other games on the Xbox 360 that i would like to express my thoughts on. But here comes one that caught my attention after a long time and locked me back into addiction (well, just slightly) since i last got hooked to Resident Evil 4.

Finally having some initiative in posting something. Like its namesake, its really “ground zero” now, and that i’ve been de-linked from some of my friends’ blogs. LOL.. its ok, i understand.

So whats up with me? 2007 has been one hell of a year. Things happened, but i don’t really wanna talk about it here. I’ve been doing great, enjoying the last 3 months of a new 2008. And i’m pretty determined things will turn for the better as months go by. As far as it goes, i’m glad to be back actively in football and semi-actively in console gaming and MMORPGs.
